For the past 6 months, i have been shooting time lapse due to inspiration from Terje, a professional landscape photographer. I went to few places in Penang Island, Malaysia (my hometown) to shoot some landscape photographs which eventually combined together. As an amateur photographer who without sponsorship and with low budget DSLR and lens, It been a very hard challenge for me to produce a good quality photo. Hence, I enhanced the color (NOT HDR), adjust the white balance and reduce the noises of my photos with some editing software. Besides, I have to loan an extra camera which have a better processing and image quality from my brother. Working as a manufacturing engineer, it is a very tough challenge for me to do my shooting because I need to stand by 24/7. But with the determination and my obsession, I spent most of my precious leisure time shooting this time lapse. Special thanks to my wife, brother and colleagues who support and teach me the technique of various types of landscape, time lapse and astrophotography.
A total of 16409 photos(69 clips) have been compressed for this time lapse.
This is my first cinematography. I have been making few video clips for the past 1 year after i have my first DSLR. For this video, i captured a total of 143 short clips with a total duration of 11minutes. I compress and combined 84 clips to make this video.

For the past 1 week, i been try to make my own video clip. I decide to choose a sad song from Steve Chou which called 酒當歌. Although i hardly under the meaning, i used the google translate to help me to understand the entitle lyrics.
I went to few places in Penang Island to shoot the clips. I used Windows live movie maker to combine all the short clip and finally become my very first Home Make MV. Here are some of the screen shot :
Tasik Teluk Kumbar located in Teluk Kumbar. It is a 20 minutes drive from Georgetown to the main road of the junction. From the junction, it took around 5 minute drives to reach the lake. The lake is actually beside a very nice beach. For a photographer, this place is a very nice place for a photo shooting. For me, I experienced myself with landscape, macro and IR photography shooting. Below are the photos of IR Photography.
