Tale of a Fisherman in Malaysia
It is hard to make a living. Sailing through the strong wave early in the morning is just for the family while some others are still in the wonderland. The income or output is unpredictable while the family members are waiting for the return of the father. This is how the economy cycle responded for the country to move forward.

Bridge of Life...
I captured this photo is Teluk Kumbar, Penang. The milky way is covered by cloud and there is a bridge where the local called it " The Lovers' Bridge "
The bridge is like the path of our life. We are growing up stages by stages connected together by bridges. Flashback our childhood memories... we learn how to eat, talk, crawling, walking and running. Every path we made and there is a destiny where we are now. Grateful and cherish our beloved parents for providing the preliminary bridges of our life. Every little moment we are facing, there are up and down. Reflection of the bridge symbolized the memories or experiences which we are going through for the past years of our life. Our journey does not end here or now. There are a lot of stages of life which the bridge will help us through. The stars symbolized the guide of our life where the cloud is the obstacles where we are going to face.
Do not give up your precious life. Every obstacle has a solution. Enjoy every moment you have and the most important things are to love your parents and your other half which they are the bridges of your life. Happy Chinese New Year 2012.

Milky way & shooting star in Penang, Malaysia
Astrophotography actually is a very challenging type of photography. Beside basic skill, there are a few condition where we need to look into.
1) Clear Sky
2) Absent of the moon
3) No light pollution
4) Basic editing skill.
I have been shooting astrophotography for the pass 6 months. Many of my outing actually end up without any good result. Here are some of the photos that i manage to capture.

Photography in Penang
For the past 6 months, i have been shooting time lapse due to inspiration from Terje, a professional landscape photographer. I went to few places in Penang Island, Malaysia (my hometown) to shoot some landscape photographs which eventually combined together. As an amateur photographer who without sponsorship and with low budget DSLR and lens, It been a very hard challenge for me to produce a good quality photo. Hence, I enhanced the color (NOT HDR), adjust the white balance and reduce the noises of my photos with some editing software. Besides, I have to loan an extra camera which have a better processing and image quality from my brother. Working as a manufacturing engineer, it is a very tough challenge for me to do my shooting because I need to stand by 24/7. But with the determination and my obsession, I spent most of my precious leisure time shooting this time lapse. Special thanks to my wife, brother and colleagues who support and teach me the technique of various types of landscape, time lapse and astrophotography. 
A total of 16409 photos(69 clips) have been compressed for this time lapse.
Camera : Canon EOS 550D, EOS 60D
Lens : 18-55mm, 50mm, 55-250mm & 8mm fish eye
